The holding company, which has invested in seven firms operating in finance, financial technology, media, and software, currently manages assets worth approximately $700 million. In the long term, it aims to make larger-scale investments in strategic growth areas such as energy, mining, real estate, and hospitality. Chairman of the Board of RePie Investment Holding, Dr. M. Emre Çamlıbel, stated: “With our holding structure, we aim to manage our existing investments more effectively and seize new opportunities in emerging growth areas. Our goal is to reach $5 billion in assets within three years.
RePie Investment Holding was established to realize long-term, strategic investments both in Turkey and abroad. With a current valuation of approximately $700 million, the holding encompasses leading companies in their respective fields, including RePie Asset Management, Fonmap, RePie GSYO, Doğan Burda, Link Bilgisayar, Colendi Securities, and Goldtag. The group also plans to make additional investments both domestically and internationally.
Aiming to seize emerging opportunities in strategic growth areas such as energy, mining, real estate, and hospitality at the right time and in the most effective way, RePie Investment Holding is set to launch large-scale projects in these sectors.
Chairman of the Board, Dr. M. Emre Çamlıbel, stated: “Nearly a decade ago, we took a bold step that challenged conventional norms in the investment world. We foresaw that alternative investments would become one of the cornerstones of the future financial system. We led the creation of a completely new category in Turkey. RePie Investment Holding was born out of the investor-entrepreneur ecosystem we built around RePie Asset Management over the past 10 years—fueled by strong partnerships, industry firsts, the experience we’ve gained, and the trust we’ve earned.”
THE PORTFOLIO HAS REACHED $2.5 BILLION
The ecosystem built by RePie Asset Management—Turkey’s leading player in the alternative investment fund sector—over the past 10 years now encompasses a wide range of companies, projects, and a diverse pool of human capital with various areas of expertise. With investments across 41 sectors, including fintech, mobility, e-commerce, retail, healthcare, smart city technologies, renewable energy, telecommunications, real estate, and hospitality, RePie Asset Management currently manages a portfolio valued at $2.5 billion.
The companies backed by RePie's funds generate a combined annual revenue of approximately $3 billion and collectively employ over 20,000 people.
A TARGET OF $5 BILLION WITHIN 3 YEARS
Highlighting their intention to effectively capitalize on growth areas, Çamlıbel listed the sectors where they see the greatest opportunities as energy, mining, real estate, fintech, finance, and hospitality. “We aim to manage these opportunities with the right strategies and transform our investments into large-scale transformation projects,” said Çamlıbel, adding:
“By leveraging the strong partnerships we’ve built over the years, we want to unlock synergies within our existing ecosystem and offer our investors new, growth-oriented opportunities. Naturally, once our investments reach a certain level of maturity, we will implement the most effective exit strategies. Our core priority will be to create sustainable returns for our investors while continuing to generate new investment opportunities for our ecosystem. With our strong portfolio, bold business models, and boundary-pushing perspective, we aim to become a leading investment group in both Turkey and global markets—targeting $5 billion in assets under management within the next three years as RePie Investment Holding.”
OVER 100 FUNDS
As one of the cornerstones of the investment holding, RePie Asset Management achieved an impressive 74% growth over the past year. As of the end of March, its total assets under management reached approximately TRY 90 billion. The company currently manages a total of 44 venture capital investment funds (VCIFs), 36 real estate investment funds (REIFs), 16 securities mutual funds, and 2 pension funds.
“When we established RePie Asset Management, we redefined the concept of investment with the vision that a true investment gains meaning not only through today’s returns, but also through the long-term impact it creates,” said Çamlıbel. He noted that RePie introduced Turkey to alternative investment funds—an essential component of a balanced global investment portfolio. Çamlıbel added: “With both the diversity of funds we offer and the scale of our portfolio, we have consistently maintained and strengthened our leadership in the alternative investment fund category since our inception.”
DIGITALIZED ALTERNATIVE INVESTMENT FUNDS
Recalling that they have transformed the alternative investment fund category in Turkey into a full-fledged ecosystem, Çamlıbel emphasized that they achieved a first in the country by digitalizing alternative investment funds through Fonmap.
“We launched Fonmap to make alternative investment funds—of which we are the pioneer in Turkey—accessible to a broader audience, including individual investors,” said Çamlıbel, adding: “Thanks to Fonmap, investors can manage all their fund investments through a single app. By establishing a digital ecosystem and introducing share transfer functionality, we enabled liquidity within alternative investment funds.”
Noting that they have built a structure that enhances financial literacy and empowers investors to take control of their financial futures, the Chairman of RePie Investment Holding said: “Fonmap, which brings together funds from various portfolio management companies, aims to become one of the leading platforms for fund investing in the coming period.”
INVESTMENTS IN FINANCE, TECHNOLOGY, AND MEDIA
RePie Investment Holding has seven subsidiaries. Among them is Doğan Burda, Turkey’s largest magazine group with 55 publications, which was acquired in 2024. With this investment, RePie Investment Holding aims to blend the legacy of traditional media with the innovative potential of the digital world. “In line with global publishing trends, our goal is to transform Turkey’s largest magazine group across a wide spectrum—from subscription-based business models to data-driven publishing strategies,” said Çamlıbel.
Under the RePie Investment Holding umbrella, which has a strong focus on financial investments, Goldtag operates in the field of efficient foreign exchange trading.
Leveraging RePie Asset Management’s experience in investing in the startup ecosystem, RePie Venture Capital Investment Trust (VCIT) was launched in August 2024. The company aims to support innovative and visionary businesses, as well as high-potential SMEs, through strategic investments.
